We Will Miss Our Sweet Grandma Ransom


My beautiful Grandma, Beth Kirby Ransom Shelley, passed away earlier this morning. This picture was taken the day after Thanksgiving, just four months ago. I had no way of knowing that it would be the last time that I would see her in this life.

She is one of the kindest, sweetest people that I have ever known. She was an amazing example of unconditional, Christlike love to all those around her, and she touched many lives through her loving service.

I feel a special connection with her because I was born on her birthday, November 9th, and I was named after her (my middle name is Beth). I love her so much and I will miss her more than I can say. I will forever be gratfeul to her for creating such a beautiful family of which I am blessed to be a part. I will always keep her memory in my heart...until we meet again.

We love you, Grandma! We will miss you!

So sorry to hear about your dear Grandma... I'm afraid I'll be going through the same thing in the next few months. My Grandma has cancer and not much time left. Won't it be fun though to see all these familiar faces when we get to the other side one day? Let me know if you need anything. We all need to hook up for lunch sometime!! Did you hear Michelle Peterson just had another baby? Anyhow, give me a call sometime!

I'm sorry you've lost your grandma before being able to introduce her to your new baby. Knowing we will see our loved ones again is so reassuring at times like these. I still need to come see you and Mikey... I haven't forgotten, it's just been busy... keep holding on! love ya!

Baby Mikey is Here!

Here are a few pictures that were taken in the hospital. Our little baby boy, Michael Israel Gonzalez, was born on Saturday, January 17th at 1:32 pm. He weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and was 20 inches long. We are so thankful that he arrived safely. Both Mommy and baby are doing well.

Beatles Birthday Weekend!

To celebrate my birthday, my sister Jessica and I went down to Vegas to see the Beatles Love show at the Mirage. It was an amazing show and we had a great weekend. We stayed with my friend, Andrea, who is Tamara's little sister. On Friday night we went to Chevy's (my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant) and then went to see the water show at the Bellagio. On Saturday we went the buffet at the Wynn and had a quick shopping trip at our favorite store, H&M. Then we rushed off to the show and afterwards we celebrated with non-alcoholic Pina Coladas at Caesar's Palace. I had one of the best birthday's ever. It was such a quick trip but it was really fun to have a girl's weekend together--our first ever! I am so lucky to have the best sister in the world!!!
