We had our 20 week ultrasound today and found out that we are having a baby boy! We are both so thrilled and excited. I really wanted to have a boy first, so I couldn't be happier! We can't wait to get started on the nursery and I' m so excited to start shopping for baby clothes and furniture.

So, I decided that it was finally time to start blogging since this week we should have lots of exciting baby news to post. We have our ultrasound on Wednesday and finally get to find out if we're having a boy or a girl. I am very annoyed that blogging isn't easier. I can't seem to figure out how to post pictures with text, and I'm dying to post photos from our recent vacation to California, from my friend Tamara's wedding and from Israel's graduation. I'm trying to figure it out on my own, so I guess I'm going to have to read the instructions or ask a friend who blogs to show me how to do it. I created this blog over a year ago and found it too frustrating, so I haven't posted anything in over a year. I like Facebook a lot better, but a lot of my friends aren't on Facebook, so it's time to bite the bullet and figure this out. I thought I was a lot more technically savvy than this! :-)

Israel graduated from BYU with a B.A. in Spanish Translation on August 15th. I'm so proud of him!

In February, Israel and I went to Australia. We spent a week in Sydney and a few days in a Northern city called Cairns, off the Great Barrier Reef. It was an amazing trip. We saw kangaroos, platypus, koala bears, crocodiles and beautiful sea life. We took a two hour boat ride out to the Reef and Israel and I went scuba diving and explored the ocean floor. We had a great time!
